Non-Medicated Elk Formula
Our Basic Instincts™ Cat Elk formula is a good “red” protein often used as an alternative to or variation from beef. It is a good alternative because it is lower in fat and higher in taurine.
Recognizing that Elk is not animal that a cat would eat in the wild, Basic Instincts™ Cat Elk is a high lean muscle meat. This meal is high in protein and iron – both necessary for a balanced diet.
It is important for cats to get a variety of different meats in order to meet their nutritional needs and we know that some cats really enjoy a variety of tastes and textures in their diet.
Non-medicated elk muscle meat, lamb heart, lamb liver, steamed lamb bone meal*, dried egg yolk, psyllium husk powder, agar, gelatin, filtered water, and wild salmon oil.
*Note: In the event of a steamed lamb bone meal shortage, it will be substituted with lamb bone powder. Please check the label for ingredient information specific to each batch.
