Turkey Formula

We're making a change to our Basic Instinct cat turkey and chicken products to better align with our ethical sourcing standards.
 
Previously, the “human-grade” recipe used egg-laying hens, which are the only poultry in Canada still allowed to be kept in cages. Since acquiring Basic Instinct, we’ve switched to using only Canadian meat poultry in all our recipes to ensure higher animal welfare standards.
 
To keep things simple, we’re discontinuing the “human-grade” line and will continue with the “non-medicated” recipe, which has only minor formula differences. As a bonus, we’ve also lowered the price of the “non-medicated” option to reflect this change.
